Thank you to everyone who made the 10th annual Ride a huge success!

10TH ANNUAL RIDE FOR RECOVERY SPONSORS

Livengrin thanks these organizations for their commitment to addiction recovery!

ABOUT THE RIDE

More than 120,000 people have come through the doors of this nonprofit addiction treatment center since 1966. Increasing numbers of people are turning to Livengrin for its individualized approach to treatment and the continuum of care.

Now in its 10th year, the Ride for Recovery Motorcycle Poker run and family-fun picnic supports Livengrin’s mission, raises public awareness about addiction and addiction treatment, and raises funds which directly benefit patient programs, charitable care, family programs and other services.

There’s no telling how many people receive help at Livengrin due to the funds raised – and public awareness heightened – by the Ride for Recovery. Every dollar goes to patient care, everything from new educational materials to scholarship funds that help motivated patients get treatment in these difficult economic times.

Every sponsorship and ticket purchase is devoted to patients. Your support of the Ride truly makes a difference – maybe for someone you know. Join us Sunday, June 1st!

  • 2004

Livengrin Foundation’s Ride for Recovery begins as about 30 motorcycles head for Annapolis, MD., to raise public awareness and offer a safe, fun and sober venue and activity for the celebration of recovery.

  • 2006

The event scales up for Livengrin’s 40th Anniversary, with the partnership of members of the region’s riding community. With almost 200 riders and several hundred other guests, plus the first Ride Raffle, this spectacular success raised more than $11,000.

  • 2010

Almost 300 riders, 50% more than any previous year, nearly 1,000 total attendance, more than 2,100 raffles for a new Harley Davidson and $30,000 raised.

  • 2012

Bigger and better! More riders, more families, more tickets sold, more sponsors invest, more media coverage about recovery from addiction. Anew two-state route and June date with better odds for good weather! It all adds up to $42,000 for programs and charitable care!

  • 2013

With over 200 riders, and the increased support of our generous sponsors and advertisers, we were able to reach a new high of over $45,000 raised for charitable care, and celebrate another successful ride!

Donate to the Ride for Recovery. All proceeds directly benefit patient care.
